ICO Islamic Studies Student's Textbook Grade 1 Part 2

Grade One: At this level students are introduced to Islam through the shahaadah (testimony of faith). They learn appropriate care of the Qur'aan and engage in memorization and recitation of surahs from Surah at-Teen to Surah al-Humazah. The life of Prophet Muhammad is introduced to them. They learn the basics of cleanliness and ablution along with the propler performace of prayer. The course ends with lessons on personal hygiene, respect for parents and respect for the property of others.
