Among the many English translations and commentaries of the Qur’an, ‘Abdullah Yusuf ‘Ali’s rendition stands out as perhaps the most popular and widely read. Its eloquent English prose, together with its scholarly notes and appendices, has established it as a major landmark in Qur’anic interpretation.

Since its first publication in 1934, this translation has held great authority and has been extensively used by both scholars and students as a key reference.

This new edition is printed on fine, thin paper and features the Uthmani Qur’anic text approved by Malaysia’s Qur’anic Script Department. It comes in a clear, reader-friendly format, beautifully typeset with large Arabic and English fonts, and includes comprehensive footnotes and commentaries.
