Upright Series 1: Story of the Leper, the Bald and the Blind

How many of us are truly grateful for what Allah has blessed us with. In this story Allah tests a leper, a bald man and one who is blind. Allah sends an angel to each man, who cures their respective illness and blesses them further with livestock, i.e., camels, cows and sheep. The three men then go along their way until it is time to be tested, to establish how grateful each one is. Two of the men prove to be proud and start telling lies which lands them in the unfortunate state they were previously in, while the third man recognizes that all his good fortune is from Allah alone and that his health and wealth are favors from his Maker.
