Race with Death

Race with Death is a devastatingly moving account about the Bosnian war. Written by the retired Doctor, who volunteered her services at the hospital in Sarajevo during the height of the conflict, it relates the experiences of patients she treated. These 22 individual accounts of ordinary man, women and children, describe stories of heroism and selfless sacrifice, pain and suffering, stoical fortitude and stubbornness in the face of indescribable aggression û persecuted because of their faith.
