The Greatness of Seeking Forgiveness and Repenting to Allah

Originally a lecture the author delivered to a group of Muslims in Mansura, Egypt, the Sheikh was encouraged by a number of Islamic publishers to present the topic in a readable form so that its benefit would reach a wider audience. Therefore he revised the lecture, verified all the ahadeeth and then rewrote and rearranged it (with praises to Allah). The author gathered material discussing the understanding, etiquette, forms of supplication, virtues, benefits, preferred times and places for seeking forgiveness. He also mentions the obstacles which prevent forgiveness (from being accepted).
